Submitting artwork is a voluntary process that benefits the big studios and shits on the smaller guys like Lionsgate. The images definitely fall in the same vein as the Saw posters, which stirred up enough controversy of their own. . . not to mention that photoshop/airbrushed photos of Cuthbert being tortured don't even look real, let alone scary. Did anyone see Texas Chainsaw The Beginning? That was the most pathetic and unnecessary bloodbath gorefest I've seen in a long time, yet it easily got an R-rating. Granted, it wasn't pushed along by overly-gory marketing materials, it was still a giant piece of crap. Not to say that this movie won't be, but really... they're getting way more promotion from this scandal than they would've if the ads had been approved and placed in the markets that the MPAA would've pushed them into anyway. ...not to mention the font (Uptown) doesn't do much at all for me in this piece. Meh... This is ridiculous. Submitting artwork is a voluntary process that benefits the big studios and shits on the smaller guys like Lionsgate.

I see them at bustops all over town. After Dark Films needs to get off their ass and remove them. Posters for this film have not been removed in LA! I see them at bustops all over town.
