Spider-Man 3D
Sony Pictures has released a three dimensional teaser movie poster for Spider-Man 3. The Spider-Man 3 lenticular movie poster features the chest torso of Peter Parker’s red Spider-man suit that morphs into the black and white “symbiote” costume (which will presumably end up as the basis for the villian Venom). The Spiderman lenticular poster 3D effect happens when the viewer changes angles when looking at the poster.
A 3D lenticular movie poster image is created by a convex prism lens over the surface of the printed poster, which shows different parts of an image depending on the perspective of the viewer. The process has been around since the 1900s, but has become more popular in recent years as a collectible item. Past movie poster lenticulars include Species 2, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
While lenticular movie posters tend to be popular with collectors and fans, film studios do not create lenticulars very often. This is due to several reasons: they are more expensive to produce, they require (for best results) being backlit in a movie theater lightbox frame, and most importantly, smaller poster details (such as text) are difficult to read.

Well, the Spider-Man 3 lenticular poster will be rare and hard to come by. Your best bet is watch for it to appear on eBay:

I think I like the red suit spider better than the one on the black suit.
It is a lovely poster. I have been lucky enough to get my hands on one !
One other thing to mention is that the posters are numbered on the bottom. Must also be a low printing number as it’s only 4 digits.
The Spider-Man 3 lenticular is cool. The Cineplex Paramount in downtown Vancouver has it in a great location in their lobby. It’s mounted high (15′) but the lenticular looks great!

I have this awesome spidey 3 lenticular holo-motion poster.
it is in excellent condition and is best viewed with lighting behind it measures 27″x40″ and weighs around 3 lbs I am selling it for $800. This is a collectible for harcore fans only. Less than 400 of these are in existance and most of them are in the hands of cast crew and other affiliates. These extremely rare treasures will be selling for over a thousand on ebay when the movie comes out in may.
I don’t want to sound doubtful but there are blatently more than 400 of these in existance.
The numbering on the bottom of the poster is four digits, and the numbering of mine is quite a bit higher than 400. Although I am in no way denying the rarity and value of these posters, there are way more than 400 in existance.
These posters were not consecutively crash numbered, they were assigned digits according to distribution. Yes there are less than 400 made. Trust me this is a fact.

I WORK FOR THE COMPANY THAT MAKES THE LENTICULAR POSTERS. FYI, THERE WERE MORE THAN 400 PRODUCED; MORE LIKE 4700. THEY WERE SENT TO MOVIE THEATRES AROUND THE WORLD (NOT JUST THE USA). AND THE CAST & CREW OF THE MOVIE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY EITHER.
